About Us

Nearly 24 years ago, our owner Rob Johnson, penned a statement of philosophy for the operation of our sister property, the Enzian Inn.  He included these words, “we are looking to the Enzian as a model and testing ground of ideas and methods that will someday, be used many times over.”  In August 2001 an opportunity to examine and develop that model presented itself in Alpine Rivers Inn.

Through any given season the area around Alpine Rivers Inn teams with wildlife.  It is not uncommon to see deer, raccoons, ground hogs, eagles, kingfishers and an occasional black bear.  The  Wenatchee River provides our guests with an ever changing dynamic from its dramatic flows in the early spring run-off to the thousands of Chinook salmon who pass by on their way to the headwaters of the Wenatchee River in Lake Wenatchee to spawn.  Whatever the season we are sure you will enjoy the peaceful sounds and sights of the river.

We trust that your experience here with us will be a pleasant one and as your travels return you to our area, you will wish to return to the river and visit us again at Alpine Rivers Inn
